Thursday, March 8th

      Memorial Service for President Joseph A. Walkes, Jr. (Campbell & L.A. Jones Chapter)

1:00pm to 1:30pm: Convention Registration

1:30pm: Historical Ventures: Joint Afrocentric program for Phylaxis and Phyllis members (casual dress)
      "Buffalo Soldiers" - Presented by Buffalo Soldiers Society of New Mexico
      "Nubian Civilizations" - John B. Williams: Advanced civilizations along the Southern Nile Valley.

5:00pm to 6:00pm: Chi Rho Fraternity meeting

7:00pm: Table Lodge for Phylaxis Society (by Host Jurisdiction)
     Masonic attire with aprons. Participants bring your firing cannon.

7:00pm: OES Visitation for Phyllis Chapter (Host Jurisdiction)

Friday, March 9th

9:00am to 9:30am: Opening and Introductions

9:30am to 10:30am: Forum: "Phylaxis Chapters" (All Phylaxis Chapters)
     Moderated by the Director of the Council of Chapter Presidents, Ras Cannady, FPS
     Issues facing today's Phylaxis Chapters and how they are being dealt with.

10:30am to 11:30am: "Knight of the York Cross of Honor," by James Rocky Dallas
Explains how York Rite is related to award of Knight York Cross of Honor; how cross is carried; who can receive the Grand Knight Cross of Honor; what is the Knight Cross of Honor; York Rite Masonry to cover the lodge, chapter, council and Commandery with some words on the female side.

Noon: Phyllis Chapter Luncheon

2:00pm to 3:00pm: "Masonry in Massachusetts," by Ray Coleman, FPS, Grand Historian MA. The presentation will contain a brief but complete history of the beginnings of masonry in Massachusetts, including some of the challenges and controversies emanating from within the craft. It is an accurate and well-researched history which should be of interest to all PH masons. The presentation will also include an introduction to the Prince Hall Foundation, the National Park Services "Prince Hall Project" and the Prince Hall monument project in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The director of the NPS project will be on hand. Questions and discussion are encouraged.

3:00pm to 4:00pm: Workshop: "Historical Sites." Plenary session: Phylaxis Society and Phyllis Chapter. Open forum about searching out and documenting important Masonic and Eastern Star sites and getting GPS locations for historic buildings and graves. A national database is being planned to document such sites.

7:00pm to 9:30pm: "Writing: The Walkes Style," moderated by President John B. Williams
Video of a classic presentation made by Joseph A. Walkes, Jr. in 1997. There will be no additional cost for this special session. (Presented for and open to all registered Phylaxis and Phyllis members)

Saturday, March 10th

8:30am to 9:00am: Convention Registration

9:00am to 9:30am: Introductions and Announcements

9:30a to 1 0:30am: "Write Your Own History" John B. Williams, FPS, moderator. This will be an open forum based on Brother Williams' article in the winter 2006 edition of thePhylaxis.

10:30a to 11:30am: "Brother Matthew A. Henson, Explorer and Prince Hall Mason," by Ras T. Cannady. According to documented evidence, a Prince Hall Mason, Brother Matthew Alexander Henson, was the first American to reach the North Pole. He arrived some time before Admiral Robert Peary and planted the flag of the United States.

Noon: Phylaxis Luncheon - Host chapter 4b's awards

2:00pm to 3:00pm: "National Grand Lodge," by Alton G. Roundtree
Will speak on the National Grand Lodge or the National Compact with emphasis on the information contained in chapter four of Out of the Shadows. Will cover infirmation not hereto fire addressed or presented. Will clarify some dates and issues pertaining to the National Grand Lodge.

3:00pm to 4:00pm: Grand Master's Forum
Moderated by MWGM Jessie James, Host Grand Masrer. All sitting Grand Masters are invited to participate in this open firum.

7:00pm: Annual Awards Banquet: Guest speaker, Honorable Solomon Wallace, Sovereign Grand Commander, AASR, NJ
