LIFE MEMBERSHIP
Members and new applicants may apply for life membership. The present fee for life membership is $500 which can be paid in installments of no less than $100 per installment. Life members are entitled to receive the Phylaxis Magazine and special newsletters for life provided they maintain membership in their Masonic lodge. A life member who has been suspended from his lodge regains his life membership status after he has been reinstated into his lodge. Life members also receive a certificate of life membership and a life membership card. Those who became life members after the fee was increased to $500 are also entitled to a life membership pin.
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
The Program Director for Life Membership will:
a. Process all applications for life membership and issue life membership cards and lapel pins to new life members.
b. Work closely with the financial officers to see that life membership funds are not perverted to any use that might violates the constitution and bylaws of the Society.
c. Work closely with the Financial Secretary and the Membership Chairman to maintain an up-to-date roster of life members.
d. Insure that accounts are maintained until all installment payments are received.
e. Establish and periodically implement a review mechanism to identify deceased life members.
f. Take a proactive role in recruiting life members. For example, have brochures available at the annual convention, place brief ads in the Phylaxis Magazine, etc.
g. Establish a staff of officers within the directorate as necessary to complete the assigned tasks.
h. The program director is a member of the Council of 459 and as such will submit reports based on guidelines issued by the President of the Council of 459.
